Quiet buildings for loud cities.

Architecture & interiors · Est. 2009

We design homes, workplaces and interiors that get better with time. Fewer gestures, better materials, more light.

Modern timber and glass house at dusk under a large tree

A good building doesn't ask to be looked at. It changes how you feel when you walk in, and you can't quite say why.

The studio

Twenty-two people. One long table.

We work in one room, on one table, with no separate design department. The person who sketches your building is the person who stands on site with you when it's built.

Net-zero in operation on every project since 2020
One partner leads your project from first sketch to handover

How we work

A clear process with no surprises on cost.

1
Listen
We start by spending time with you and your site. No drawings for the first two weeks.
2
Draw
Three honest options, physical models and a realistic budget that we stand behind.
3
Build
We stay on site every week until the keys are in your hand, and we come back after a year.

Our bread

48 hours from flour to first slice.

No shortcuts and no additives. Just stone-milled flour, water, salt and a starter we have been feeding since we opened. That long, cold ferment is what gives our loaves their crackly crust and deep flavour.
